Smooth and creamy Malteser cheesecake, full of Maltesers and chocolate, this no-bake Malteser cheesecake recipe is the best and easy dessert.
Ingredients
100 g butter
200 g biscuits
200 g of Maltesers
400 g of cream cheese, at room temperature
200 g of semi-sweet chocolate
2 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
3 tablespoons sugar
125 ml whipped cream
Directions
- Melt the butter in a small pan over low to medium heat.
- Crush the biscuits to powder then add the melted butter to the crumbs and mix through.
- Spread the mixture over the bottom of the springform pan and press firmly with a spoon.
- Place the springform pan in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a bowl on top of a pan of boiling water in a bain-marie.
- Place the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer, then add the sugar and mix well then add the melted chocolate and cocoa powder mix well.
- Finally, slowly pour the whipped cream into the mixing bowl while continuing to mix.
- Add 125 g of crushed Maltesers and mix slowly with a spatula.
- Remove the springform pan from the refrigerator and pour the creamy chocolate mixture onto the biscuit base. Use a spatula to create a nice wavy pattern as a topping.
- Place the springform pan in the refrigerator overnight to set the cheesecake.
- Remove the springform pan from the refrigerator and remove the springform pan and baking paper.
- Chop the remaining Maltesers into pieces and decorate with the Maltesers.
