  1. In a pot add the washed rice and add 2 glasses of water.
  2. Turn on the stove on medium heat and place the pot on the stove. Let it cook, stirring occasionally, until the rice completely absorbs its water and becomes soft.
  3. Add 1 liter of milk and vanilla to the boiled rice and mix.
  4. Then let it boil for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. In the meantime, add half a glass of milk to 3 tablespoons of cornstarch in a small bowl and mix until dissolved.
  5. Add 1 glass of granulated sugar and milk and cornstarch mixture to the boiling rice. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until this mixture thickens.
  6. After about 10 minutes, our rice pudding will reach the consistency we want.
  7. Then pour the rice pudding onto oven plates and place it on a baking tray. Before putting the rice pudding in the oven, add water to reach about half of the bowls.
  8. Put the rice pudding on the top shelf of the oven and let it cook and take a nice brown color on the top.
  9. Let them come to room temperature for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to the refrigerator to rest for about 2-3 hours.
