EASY EGGLESS STRAWBERRY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE
This strawberry chocolate mousse cake recipe is a combination of eggless chocolate cake and eggless strawberry mousse. It’s so simple and easy to make.

Chocolate Cake
- condensed milk
- vegetable oil
- water
- flour
- cocoa
- vanilla
- baking powder & baking soda
- salt
Strawberry Mousse
- gelatin powder
- water
- strawberry sauce
- heavy cream
HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE Cake
Chocolate cake
- First, in a bowl add condensed milk, vegetable oil, water, and vanilla and mix them with a hand whisk.
- Second, in another bowl sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix them slowly.
- Finally, add dry ingredients to the liquids and mix them well. Bake it at 180 Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
- Leave it to cool completely then cut the cake into circles.
Strawberry mousse
- In a small bowl add water and gelatine mix them well and leave it aside for 10 minutes.
- Put the gelatin in the microwave for 5-10 seconds and pour it onto the strawberry sauce and mix well.
- In a stand mixer pour the heavy cream and whip it for 3-4 minutes or until stiff peaks form, then add the strawberry sauce and mix gently until incorporated.
- Using mini pans put a piece of rounded cake and then pour the mousse filling. However, you can use a cheesecake pan.
- place the pan in the fridge for 6 hours preferably overnight.

Ingredients
- 1 can condensed milk
- ½ cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
Strawberry sauce
- 1 teaspoon gelatine powder
- 3 teaspoons water
- ¾ cup strawberry sauce 150 g
- ¾ cup heavy cream 170 g
Instructions
Chocolate cake
- Preheat your oven to 180 Celsius.
- Grease a round baking pan of 10-12 inches with sunflower oil and flour.
- In a bowl sift flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. (Use a good quality of cocoa). Place the sifted dry ingredients aside.
- In another bowl pour the condensed milk, oil, water, vanilla, and mix them well with a hand whisk
- Add the dry ingredients to liquids and mix them well but gently.Don't over mix the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.Tap the pan on the table a few times so that the extra air bubbles are let out.
- Put the pan in the oven for 25-30 minutes. since the temperatures are different from oven to oven keep a close eye on it. check the cake if done with a toothpick if the toothpick is clean then the cake is done.
- Take the pan out of the oven and let it at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
Strawberry Mousse
- In a small bowl add water and gelatine mix them well and leave it aside for 10 minutes.
- Put the gelatine in the microwave for 5-10 seconds and pour it onto the strawberry sauce and mix well.
- In a stand mixer pour the heavy cream and whip it for 3-4 minutes or until soft peaks form, then add the strawberry sauce and mix gently until incorporated.
- Leave the cake to cool completely then cut the cake to circles.
- Using mini pans put a piece of rounded cake and then put the mousse filling ( you can use a cheesecake pan)
- place the pan in the fridge for 6 hours preferably overnight.
Notes
- You can make this recipe with a cheesecake pan.
- Leave the strawberry chocolate mousse cake in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
