- Condensed milk
- Pistachio butter
- Salt
- Chocolate
- Cocoa butter or coconut oil
HOW TO MAKE best pistachio ice cream
- In a saucepan add the heavy cream and condensed milk and stir on low heat until it bubbles on the edges then turn off the heat. ( Do not let the mixture boil).
- Then add the salt and pistachio butter and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a container and let it cool down then put it in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
- Whip the ice cream mixture for 3 -4 minutes or until soft peaks form.
- Fill the silicone ice cream bars mold with the ice cream and insert a wooden stick.
- Place the mold in the freezer for 4 -5 hours.
- Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in the microwave then add the cocoa butter or coconut oil and mix well and leave it to cool at room temperature.
- Take the pistachio ice cream bars out of the mold and dip them in the chocolate then put them on a parchment paper.
- Serve them immediately or put them pack in the freezer until served.
