HOW TO MAKE lemon velvet CAKE RECIPE:
STEP1:
- Preheat your oven to 180 Celsius.
STEP2:
- Grease a cake pan with oil and flour to ensure the cake will not stick.
STEP3:
- Add the eggs, sugar, oil, milk, vinegar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla and beat for 3 minutes in a stand mixer or hand mixer.
STEP4:
- In a bowl sift dry ingredients flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
STEP5:
- Add the dry ingredients to liquids and mix for 2 – 3 minutes or until all ingredients are incorporated and there are no lumps in the batter, don’t forget to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
STEP6:
- In the cake pan pour the cake batter, then tap the pan on the table a few times to get the bubbles out.
- Bake it in preheated oven for 30 – 40 minutes( after 30 minutes keep a close eye on it because every oven is different in terms of temperature put a toothpick in the middle of the cake if it’s clean then the cake is baked).
STEP8:
- Leave it to rest in the cake pan for 30 minutes before flipping it.
STEP9:
- Decorate it with whipping cream.
